WINEPROS: Aldgate Ridge 1999 Pinot Noir
Strong colour, deep red with the last vestiges of purple; a rich, ripe complex and quite concentrated bouquet with obvious oak, then a palate with lots of texture to the rich, dark plum fruit. Verges on dry red, but will undoubtedly please those who like a pinot with punch.
